Fuller House Season 2 (December 9th, 2016)

The first 13 episodes of this family friendly Netflix reboot were thoroughly enjoyable. I’m excited to see what’s in store for the Fuller, Tanner, and Gibbler families 10 months later. While season one did have its fair share of fluff, its lighthearted appeal easily won me over and could likely do the same for you. Check it out on the Netflix streaming service December 9th.

Super Mario Run for iOS and Android (December 15th, 2016)

Having grown up playing Super Mario games on various Nintendo consoles over the years, I am ecstatic that Nintendo’s new mobile branch is releasing the first-ever Super Mario game for iOS devices. Titled Super Mario Run, the platform game features an automatically forward moving Super Mario that you can control by simply tapping the bottom of the screen. As explained in the video below, this allows the player to navigate the game with one hand. Impressive. Available for qualifying iOS devices December 15th.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (December 16th, 2016)

Plain and simple. I can’t keep up with all of the Star Wars movies. I saw the first trilogy when I was a child, the second trilogy as I matured into an adult, then there was last year’s The Force Awakens. It was good, but I didn’t rewatch any of the first six films so I felt lost. With this year’s new movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, I won’t have to. It’s the first-ever standalone Star Wars movie from the Lucasfilm studios. I’m sure there will be plenty of nods to staple characters from the past films, but Rogue One tells a completely new story with fresh characters. I look forward to watching it and taking it in, without feeling lost from my failure to recollect specifics from the past seven movies. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be premiering in theaters nationally on December 16th.
