If you’re a fan of the new TV Land series Younger, you’re likely intrigued by the show’s premise. A freshly divorced stay at home mother, Liza (played by the charming Sutton Foster), pretends to be 26 in order to advance her career after unsuccessfully attempting to return to the working world as a 40-year-old. Liza tricks a lot of the people in her life into believing she’s a twenty-something, but can she fool How-Old.net, Microsoft’s new website that guesses the age of people featured in user submitted photographs?
I took some screen captures from the latest episodes of Younger to see if Sutton Foster‘s Liza could also fool the internet. The results are quite surprising:
In most of the screen captures I submitted to How-Old.net, Sutton’s age was guessed to be as young as 24 and as old as 31, but never her actual age of 40. There were even times that the #HowOldRobot guessed Foster to be younger than 27-year-old cast-mate Hilary Duff. How-Old.net is obviously not always the most accurate. Hilary Duff does not at all look like she’s approaching 30. Neither does Sutton Foster. The Younger starlet truly is drinking from the fountain of youth, which she reportedly told Allure is due to a mix of healthy eating habits, high water intake and premium eye cream.
As good as she looks for her age, I’m definitely taking notes. Watch Sutton Foster get a second chance at her twenties on the addictive hit TV Land show Younger, from Sex and the City creator Darren Star, Tuesday’s at 10/9c.
