Whether you like pop, EDM, house, hip-hop or soul music, the industry has been buzzing with a slew of new releases from fresh artists and some of your current favorites. Below are six featured tracks that are currently making rounds between my headphones and playlists:

‘I Really Like You’ by Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly Rae Jepsen is back. The Call Me Maybe singer’s first new offering in three years is comprised of all the ingredients that contribute to a chart-worthy hit. Charming vocals, a catchy hook and a viral music video (coming soon, reportedly featuring Justin Bieber and Tom Hanks) are sure to garner Jepsen the comeback she and her label are anticipating.

‘Lean On (featuring MØ)’ by Major Lazer & DJ Snake

The surprisingly toned down track from banger kings Major Lazer and DJ Snake features Danish singer. Even with its relaxed vibe, the effort still provides danceable appeal in a way a tune produced by only these two could.

‘Talking About’ by Conor Maynard

Conor Maynard makes an interesting transition from pop to house on Talking About, his first new single since the Contrast album era. Featuring Conor’s smooth vocals, the track – and amusing visuals, above – featuring the singer trying out a style that reminds you of Kiesza. The change of pace works for Maynard and documents the promising artistic growth that we can expect on his upcoming sophomore album, coming later this year.

‘Home (featuring Dev Hynes/Blood Orange)’ by Heems

Get ready to feel some vibes. Queens rapper, Heems, recently teamed up with Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange on the smooth hip-hop track Home. Also, make sure you check out a streamable preview of Heems’ full new album Eat Pray Thug at NPR Music before it’s officially released on March 10th.

‘Hypnotic’ by Zella Day

Zella Day initially garnered industry attention for her enchanting pop confection Sweet Ophelia in 2014. Now it’s 2015 and she’s still promoting her impressive self-titled EP – available on iTunes – with her latest music video for the catchy track Hypnotic. If Sweet Ophelia and Hypnotic are a taste of what will be offered on her debut studio album Kicker, it’s going to be an appetizing one.

‘In My Dreams’ by Purple Ferdinand

Soul music singer, Purple Ferdinand, familiarizes herself with our ears on the slinky, daydream-inducing In My Dreams. The visuals, above, are equally as enchanting as the song. Get into Purple Ferdinand and her Love Bound EP which features In My Dreams, available for streaming on Ferdinand’s official soundcloud account.
