We’ve previously mentioned the beautiful Chantelle Brown-Young, her stint on cycle 21 of America’s Next Top Model, and her fronting of Barcelona, Spain’s signature brand Desigual. Now the alluring model is starring alongside other notables Kiko Mizuhara, Charlotte Free and Gryphon O’Shea in the new Nicola Formichetti fronted #DieselHigh Spring 2015 campaign.
#DieselHigh features a diverse group of models who are all smiles, Formichetti told Style.com of the Nick Knight photographed project, “There’s, like, no retouching… Of course we played with the background color and the clothes a bit, but no one’s head was chopped off and replaced with another. We wanted it to be pretty raw. I find imperfection really beautiful.” Since becoming Diesel’s Artistic Director in 2013, Nicola has launched other memorable campaigns – like his one with the stunning Jillian Mercado – that aim to change modeling standards with positive intent.
“A lot of the work I’ve been doing was about an internal reboot,” Formichetti said of his previous work. “Now it’s about bringing that message to the world. The result feels like pure positivity.” Nicola has teased that Diesel’s future focus will be on a website overhaul, fresh store ideas, and new events. “I’m just gonna go for it,” Formichetti says. “And not sleep for the next three years.”
