1. The new ‘Fantastic Four’ (2015) movie trailer

After watching the newly released trailer for the Josh Trank directed Fantastic Four movie starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell, I’m actually left impressed by the depth of the new perspective.

A movie I originally felt indifferent about now looks like an enticing watch.

2. Fifth Harmony’s album ‘Reflection’ available for early listen on iTunes

For a limited time, the darling five-some of US X-Factor fame, Fifth Harmony, are letting fans (and fans of awesome girl-groups) preview their full length, 14 track album a week early using iTunes Radio.

The album features singles you might’ve heard on offline radio, like BO$$ and Sledgehammer, plus new tracks that’ll make your ass clap, like Worth It (featuring Kid Ink), Reflection and Body Rock.

Click the “Listen in iTunes” button to check it out, above.

3. Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2015 Menswear

Hedi Slimane showcased his edgy, form-fitting looks for the Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2015 menswear campaign during Paris Fashion Week and I love everything about it.

4. A preview of the villains featured on the upcoming season of ‘Sailor Moon Crystal’

The official website for the Sailor Moon franchise in Japan teased the look of the new villains, above, featured on the upcoming Dark Kingdom Arc of Sailor Moon Crystal, which will also be coming to Japanese television with the release of the second season.

5. The song ‘Fake Music’ by David Quinn & Yoe Mase

Perusing through soundcloud’s “Trending Music” lists led me to this amazing electro track from David Quinn and Yoe Mase entitled Fake Music, above.

After listening you’ll understand why the tune was trending in the first place, with over 128,000 listens.

6. The Instagram of @LipstickYoda

Artist, Mother and must-follow, Kristen Seals (@LipstickYoda on Instagram and twitter), sketches and paints works that either make a statement, invoke emotion, or might simply be a rendering of her personal pop culture muses such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Amber Rose.

Her talent – and common-sense based, up-front personality (which makes for an interesting twitter read) – has amassed an increasing social media following and interest in her work she frequently sells at her online Etsy store.

Check out the slide of some of my favorite Instagram posts from @LipstickYoda, above.

7. Resident Evil Games

There’s no denying it, the Resident Evil franchise is making a comeback. With the mid-January release of Resident Evil HD Remaster (for most major gaming platforms) impressing old-school fans and first time players, Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be coming mid-February to hold RE fans over until the imminent debut of Resident Evil 7.

Pretty exciting news from the franchise that pretty much got me back into playing video games last year.

8. Yung Lean’s ‘Bathtub’ music video

The White Armor produced track gets recently shared visuals, above, obviously made using the iPhone’s slo-mo video recording feature. In the whole 2 minute and 25 second clip, rapper Yung Lean captures himself smoking a blunt in slow motion.

Bathtub is a catchy track regardless of the lack of happenings in the video.

 9. The #OscarsSoWhite hash-tag and tweets.

Twitter recently erupted into an uproar when the 2015 Oscar nominees were announced and not one single black actor, actress, or film featuring blacks – like the critically acclaimed Selma – was nominated.

The creation of the hash-tag #OscarsSoWhite followed soon after with some hilarious twitter commentary, above.

10. The return of TLC

People had mixed feelings over T-Boz and Chili‘s (the remaining members of the hit female R&B trio) decision to seek funding for their fifth and final album from crowd-funding giant Kickstarter, but the move has proved to be a complete success.

TLC‘s untitled project is over its initial goal by %56 – and counting, being considered one of the most successful Kickstarter campaign concerning pop music. People want new TLC music and will be getting it when the project is released later this year.

11. Lady Gaga blacked out, eating pizza outside of her diet

The adorable Instagram post recently shared by the Bad Romance singer proves she is just like any other twenty-something millenial, hilariously cute and real.

12. Charli XCX’s Japanese versions of ‘Boom Clap’ and ‘Break The Rules’

Warner Music of Japan’s YouTube Account recently released Nippon-centric versions of Charli XCX hits Boom Clap and Break The Rules, above. Actually sang by the Doing It singer herself, it’s nice to see an english speaking artist appeal to her fans from the east.

It’s also interesting to hear two songs I love being sung in Japanese.

13. Cara Delevingne’s acting abilities

What can’t this British super model do? Between her constant model work, we’ve heard her sing with Pharrell in a Chanel fashion film. Now Cara Delevingne is making a legitimate transition to actress in the upcoming film Paper Towns and in Chance The Rapper‘s impending music video Nothing Came To Me from his Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment album entitled Surf, previewed above.

I can’t wait to see the whole video.
