Love Dollhouse, one of my favorite R&B girl-groups, recently conducted a spectacular live, holiday spirit inducing Christmas song medley, acapella, during the 2014 Detroit Parade held on Thanksgiving day, below. If you’re thinking the bunch looks a little different this time around, it’s because they are.
New member, the gorgeous Dymond “Dye” Harding, pictured below, has replaced former member – a favorite of mine who will be missed – Jasmine Pore.
The new Love Dollhouse maintains an impressive sound and look, which can be seen in the video and pictures from the festival that feature the ladies performing in fun, holiday appropriate ZOOOP iT UP™ Designer Adult Onesies. They also ran into rapper Big Sean, pictured below, during the festivities.
Love Dollhouse member Ryan Destiny previously co-starred with the I Don’t Fuck With You lyricist in his music video for the song Paradise. Maybe with newer members Chelsea Stone and now Dye Harding, Love Dollhouse can hopefully release a full project with a more solid presence.
As good as Can I was, I refuse to stop supporting these three talented females who are noteworthy enough to be vetted by Russell Simmons and Steve Rifkind. They legitimately possess the potential to rival the greats like TLC and Destiny’s Child. R&B needs them and I’m excited to see how they cater to filling the current void of a female group in that genre.
