My long-time friend and creative collaborative partner, Hillary K. Sharma, above, was an artist, photographer and screen-printer from Eastlake, Ohio who passed away earlier this year.

One of the last projects she assisted me on was the very logo that is currently used on this website and its partnered social media efforts. Hillary also co-designed my “Handle Your Scandal” t-shirt with District Lines, above.

Sharma had a knack for infusing landscapes with portraits using the double exposure technique as well as a love for use of colors that pop.

As documented on her page, Hillary was a talented photographer who often found inspiration for her images in abandoned settings like where she captured the popular works “wall,” “lonely duckys” and “Dirty Duck.”

Sharma even played around with pop style photography for this self portrait, above.

Hillary K. Sharma was known for her effervescent, amiable personality which truly showed in her work. Due to the unfortunate circumstances of her passing and the overshadowing effect aspects of it have had due to the media’s take on Hillary’s cause of death, I wanted to personally take the liberty to share Sharma’s name in a more positive light. She was fast becoming a respected artist in her community and that needn’t be forgotten.
