Troubled R&B girl-group, Danity Kane, announced their triumphant comeback without D. Woods not too long ago but separated again almost as fast as they had reformed. The first signs of trouble came about after their foursome dropped to a threesome when former member, Aundrea Fimbres, decided not to continue on with the relaunching of Danity Kane. The three remaining members released Lemonade but then completely fell apart when Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, and Dawn Richard just couldn’t get along.
Regardless of their dissolution, an album was completed. An album fans wanted to hear. Via multiple statements made on the former band members’ separate twitter accounts and Danity Kane‘s official website, the album seemed completely shelved until a surprise pre-order appeared on iTunes. DK3, the new full-length LP from the now disbanded Danity Kane will officially be released on October 27th and features 10 tracks. The first two offerings from DK3 – besides Lemonade – are Rhythm Of Love and Tell Me, above.
The new tracks are pleasing Danity Kane fans so much that they’re already charting on iTunes. The album itself is currently sitting at number 9 on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart. Regardless of if the group has dissolved, the fact remains that the fans have not. Excitement for a new Danity Kane album is alive and well.
