Fashion savant, Nicola Formichetti, has been dabbling in music for a while. Now the Diesel artistic director is switching known professions and moving from that of budding music promoter to producer. His latest protégés, a J-Pop trio named color-code, have released a single and music video, above, entitled I Like Dat, produced by Nicola and Japanese Hip-hop performer and songwriter, VERBAL (m-flo).

The result is a high fashion spectacle that is as pleasing to the eyes as it is to the ears. color-code have released a four track EP version of their I Like Dat single that’s currently exclusive to the Japanese iTunes store. Whether it concerns visual or audible art, Formichetti knows what’s good.
